About Panther Academy

Grade Recuperation, Credit Recover, and so much more...

Panther Academy is a program created by the Potomac Falls community in response to students’ needs for mid-year grade adjustments.

How it Works

Step One

For whatever reason, the student has failed a particular section of your course. Some of these reason may be due to an extended absence, medical concerns, or a legitimate reason for poor academic performance.

Step Two

In collaboration between the student, counselor, teacher, and administrator, a decision is made to enroll the student in Panther Academy

Step Three

Once enrolled in the particular unit(s) needed, the student is responsible for completing all tasks as the program indicates. A certificate will be generated at the end of each unit and an administrator will verify the completion of the progress in Panther Academy's portal system.

Step Four

Students are encouraged to print/email their certificates of completion to their teacher, counselor, and administrator. Depending on whether the student in Grade Recuperation or Credit Recovery, grades will be processed accordingly by all parties.

Auto-Graded

As Panther Academy students progress through each module, we've created a system that auto-grades all summative assignments and assessments.

Certified Success

At the end of each unit-course, students will receive a Certificate of Completion which they should print/email to their counselor, teacher, and administrator. Each certificate includes a summary of the student's performance on their unit-course.
